Victoria West High School In Victoria TX was opened in 1997 to accommodate growth that occurred as a result of oil field development in Calhoun County during the 1990s. Prior to 1997, students from this area attended either Port Lavaca or Cuero high schools; those two high schools became overcrowded as a result of student growth. The first graduating class at VICTORIA WEST HIGH SCHOOL IN VICTORIA TX graduated on May 23rd 2000. The class of 2015 will be the 10th graduating class from Victoria West High School In Victoria TX.

Victoria West High School In Victoria TX is located at 4275 E. Red River Street in Victoria, Texas and is easily reached by taking Memorial Drive (which becomes East Red River Rd.) until it ends into the front entrance. The school is just west of US Highway 59 on Alice Drive near Sugar Creek Elementary School.
